Home advantage

Oracle Park sits directly on San Francisco Bay. Strong westerly bay flow through the Golden Gate blows toward right field and McCovey Cove at 15 to 25 mph in typical summer conditions. Cold marine air combines with heavy wind to make Oracle one of the least favorable home run environments in the majors, particularly to left and center.

Division road environments

NL West gives the Giants Coors altitude, Chase Field roof, Dodger Stadium onshore, Petco marine, and Sutter Health Sacramento heat. The team travels from Oracle's cold marine extreme to Coors altitude extreme in a single division trip regularly.

For DFS and bettors

Warm dry offshore September afternoons are the rare reversal at Oracle. The park favors pitching in virtually all typical weather. Road Giants games in warm humid or high-altitude parks are the reverse trade from home totals.
