Why weather matters in MLB
A 10 mph swirling wind at Wrigley can take an extra base off every fly ball in the park. Coors Field's altitude is well-known, but the humidor's effect changes with the day's actual humidity. Cool damp air at Fenway suppresses home runs more than dry cold. These edges compound across a 162-game season, and they're the kind of thing the standard projections systems don't account for.
OVERcast quantifies them. Game by game.
