Home advantage
The Chiefs play open-air east of downtown Kansas City on the plains. Late-season games run cold and windy with occasional heavy snow. Playoff games in January can play with sub-zero wind chill. Plains wind is a major factor for kicking and downfield passing.
Division road environments
AFC West road trips into Denver mile-high altitude, Las Vegas fixed dome, and Los Angeles fixed canopy. Denver altitude is the most consistent environmental variable outside of Arrowhead.
For DFS and bettors
Cold-weather Arrowhead playoff games are among the most weather-influenced NFL environments. Late-season regular-season games with sustained plains wind are the primary weather handicap.
