The Colts play in a retractable-roof stadium in downtown Indianapolis. Roof closes for most cold-weather games from November onward. Early-season moderate games often see the roof open.

Division road environments

AFC South road trips include Houston retractable, Jacksonville warm humid coastal, and Tennessee moderate. Weather variance is largely a function of retractable roof status.

For DFS and bettors

Roof status is the leverage at Lucas Oil. Closed roof produces neutral indoor football with no weather variance. Open roof late season is rare and would signal preference for mild outside conditions.
