The Browns play open-air in downtown Cleveland directly on Lake Erie. Lake-effect snow and heavy lake-influenced wind are the defining features. Late-season games regularly play in freezing conditions with wind affecting kicking accuracy and downfield passing.

Division road environments

AFC North road trips include Baltimore mid-Atlantic, Cincinnati Ohio Valley, and Pittsburgh river-valley cold. All are outdoor stadiums with late-season weather risk.

For DFS and bettors

Cleveland is among the NFL's most wind-affected home environments. Late-season games with 15-plus mph sustained wind are common and materially affect scoring. Snow games are on the schedule most years.
